About UsHoak Motors has been serving the Sioux City, Iowa area since 1945 when Richard S. Hoak, Sr. started the business. Back then, the dealership was called Dickson Hoak Company and it carried the Dodge/Plymouth line. In 1954, Richard sold that business to Dick Dickson, bought the Oldsmobile franchise, and started Hoak Oldsmobile. In 1964, he added the Cadillac franchise. In 1974, Richard Hoak, Jr. became president of Hoak Oldsmobile. In 1979, Rick purchased the business from his father and renamed it Hoak Motors. In 1984, we acquired the GMC Truck franchise. In 1997 we purchased the Nissan line. Now we offer the largest selection of new car lines in the Siouxland area! In 1999 Eric Hoak joined the family business and in 2000 became general manager of the company. Additionally, Chris Hoak moved back home to take over the responsibilities of office manager. In 2004 we built our new, state-of-the-art dealership on Singing Hill Blvd. Throughout our humble beginnings we've continued the tradition of great service and great selection at great prices. And every day we renew our devotion to our customers, friends, and family. We've done this because we want to be your one-stop automotive shopping center. |
